Biddle Comfort air curtains are inviting

Shops and public buildings such as offices, hospitals and banks open their doors to make access as inviting and efficient as possible. The disadvantage of this, however, is that costly conditioned air escapes through the door to the outside and this results in an undesired mix of outside and inside air.  The resulting discomfort can lead to staff illness and drive away customers. Air curtains prevent against draft problems, and make it possible to keep the door of shops and other buildings open.

Climates throughout the year 

An air curtain is effective throughout the year. In winter or in cold climates it prevents loss of energy and cold air entering the building. In summer or in warm climates a continuous recirculation of indoor air prevents the influence from hot outside air on the inner climate. With an ineffective air curtain a lot of cooling is needed to create a comfortable indoor climate. The rectifier technology in all Biddle air curtains stabilizes the air turbulences created in the fans, leading to a proper separation of the inside and outside climates. Almost no cooled air disappears through the open door, while a better air distribution will improve the efficiency of the installed air conditioning equipment. A Biddle air curtain saves energy and increases turnover.

Biddle air curtains are the subject of rigorous research, always resulting in well-founded advice. The Dutch research institute TNO and the Technical university of Delft have found that the highest possible comfort and best possible penetration of airflow is achieved using the patented rectifier.
