Circular discharge Technology

Biddle cassette units are equipped with the circular discharge technology. Via the round holes in the middle of the grille air from the underlying room is taken in. Having been heated or cooled, the air is evenly discharged into the room through the discharge openings in the grille’s sides. Compared with a square discharge grille, the round discharge pattern provides for better air distribution, ensuring good downward penetration,  air circulation at low air velocity and a draught free cooling operation.

When used for both heating and cooling the Comfort Circle has an automatically adjustable and patented ‘ring’. The ring itself selects the correct discharge angle when heating or cooling, thus ensuring proper downward penetration and dispersion of air in either mode.

Hot air is discharged into the room at an angle of 45°. The ring is then in a high position. (fig. 1).

Cold air is blown out along the ceiling to make maximum use of the coanda effect. The ring is then in a low position (fig. 2).
