Biddle unit heaters can be used in spaces where physical work is performed but also, for instance, in frost-free storage areas.

Specially for high spaces such as distribution centres, industrial halls, warehouses and DIY markets, Biddle has developed a unit heater that offers the perfect balance between economy and comfort. As heat in high halls will assemble below the ceiling, this unit blows back the hot air down to the desired area, adding some 25-50kW in the process. The Biddle unit heater, model NOZ, features adjustable nozzles that provide for excellent induction and downward penetration and, with that, a low vertical temperature gradient. This efficient way of heating makes that fewer devices will be needed, thus yielding savings in terms of investment and installation.

Minimising transmission heat loss

If you use the NOZ unit heater, the temperature will be distributed across the room very evenly, which makes that the transmission loss is considerably lower than with conventional unit heaters. The highly inductivity allows you to make calculations with a temperature gradient of 0.25°C per metre and an air circulation ratio of 10 times the primary air displacement.

These features result in excellent air distribution, so that the temperature in the workplace is kept comfortable in an economical way.

Benefits

  • Excellent air distribution thanks to adjustable nozzles
  • Rapid heating up
  • No need for auxiliary fans
